If you're graduating with the Class of 2027 and thinking about spring senior photos, this is your sign to get on the calendar! Spring might feel far away, but my Spring 2027 calendar is officially open and dates are already starting to fill.


Every year I hear from seniors in March and April hoping to squeeze in photos before graduation, and by then, options can be pretty limited. Between unpredictable spring weather, prom, sports, graduation events and everyone's busy schedules, there are only so many golden-hour sessions available.


Why choose spring for senior photos?

Spring is such a good option if you missed out on fall photos, waited until later in your senior year, or simply want that fresh spring look. Think green trees, blooming flowers, warmer evenings and all the gorgeous outdoor locations finally coming back to life. It's also perfect if you want your senior photos taken closer to graduation, when senior year actually feels REAL.


So when should you book?

Now!

You don't need to wait until spring to reserve a spring session. In fact, booking early gives you the best selection of dates and more flexibility when choosing your location.

My Spring 2027 calendar is already open and booking, so if senior photos are on your list before graduation, I definitely wouldn't wait until April to start looking.


I photograph seniors throughout Lake County and McHenry County, Illinois, as well as Chicago and Southern Wisconsin, and we'll choose a location that fits the look you want for your session.
