Why Summer Is the Most Popular Time for Senior Pictures
Summer offers everything we love for senior portraits:

- Plenty of time to receive your images before yearbook deadlines
It also means you're not trying to squeeze a photo session between homework, sports, marching band, theater, and other activities once the school year begins.
When Should You Book?
Here's a simple timeline to help you plan.
June–August. The most popular months! - Summer is ideal if you want lush greenery, wildflowers, and those dreamy golden-hour sunsets.
September–October - Love fall colors? This is your season. Crisp evenings and colorful leaves create a completely different look, making these dates another favorite that fills quickly.
Winter & Spring - Still haven't booked? No problem! Winter sessions can be beautiful with fresh snow or an urban setting, while spring offers blooming flowers and fresh greenery. Every season has its own unique style.
How Far in Advance Should You Reserve?
I recommend reserving your session 2–4 months in advance, especially if you have your heart set on a Saturday evening or peak fall colors. Booking early gives you the best selection of dates and plenty of time to plan outfits, locations, and all the little details that make your session feel personal.
